Children's imagination gives them great freedom of play. In a child's point of view a cardboard box can become a small house, a bucket can become a helmet and a wooden spoon can become a sword. In this project I have tried to think like a child and imagine how a simple shape can be used as a base for different objects. I created a series of three wooden toys, all based on the same ellipse shape, using woodturning techniques. With different additions they each transform into a unique object. This production process allows the manufacturer a much more efficient way to create multiple objects.
