Gestures in clay
This project examines the performance of Italian body language in clay. The gestures are taken from the Supplement to the Italian dictionary by Bruno Munari. Each object was originally formed as a 5 cm long, 2.5 cm diameter roll of clay. With every gesture the roll was manipulated in a different way, creating a three-dimentional dictionary which looks into the relationship between language and form.
